Cascada de Tamul
The beauty of Mexico is hard to describe, nature and culture are very unique, something you have to feel. Cascada de Tamul is a ridiculous, massive Waterfall in an area which made my wildest dreams come true. It took us (6 people) 2 hours paddling in a nutshell against mainstream to reach Cascada de Tamul. Our arms felt like spaghetti, but floating back down the stream of mesmerizing turquise water amongst little waterfalls made it even more worth.
Mexican kindness
Some parts of Mexico will catapult you back in time, places which are untouched. no mass tourism, no deforestation and deep, deep jungle. We ran out of gasoline on a midnight drive through thick forests and knocked random at strangers door, to ask for a place to sleep the night. turned out we ran into the kindest, small woman, hosting us for several nights. She cooked delicious meals in tiny, dented pots and pans over an open flame in her outdoor kitchen. i swear she’s making the best lemonade in universe! she showed us around, and behind her backyard the magic continued. Blue, huge butterflies, crystal clear rivers, aras, monkeys, plants and leaves in huge executions. Monstera is my all time favorite plant, so this shot is very special to me.
